@matthew_sctt Honestly, this stuff is tiring. It's not what they mistake me for. The fact that my male colleagues are automatically the surgeon, I've to work harder, be nicer, be clearer, explain the procedure in details, introduce myself as the surgeon multiple times and I'm still not one.

Even now, I'm still so acutely aware of it. I don't think it will ever go away, the feeling of not quite fitting into what I've achieved.

@ronanlyne This is my ultimate ultimate hate/hill I will die on. If you're not qualified to do it here, you're not qualified ANYWHERE. Your patients deserve the same standard of care, wherever you treat them. I personally don't believe any of us should be going to aid/assist until CCT.

@niamh_dr So fucking annoyed. I haven't been home since Dec 19. Would kill to be in Dublin to see family and friends. Know I'm doing the right thing. But in often ask why I bother? So many don't give a shit about the greater good. Honestly, humans are awful.
