As a doctor I can categorically say that your statement is completely false.
Men have breasts.
They can develop breast cancer.
Stay in biology class kids, or you will end up looking dimmer than Pluto just like Zelda.
The night shifts are just getting worse.
The amount of verbal abuse was unreal last night.
We don’t enjoy you having to wait 12 hours to be seen.
We feel shit that the NHS is like this.
We are trying our hardest.
Please direct the abuse at the politicians.

Imagine calling junior doctors "greedy" for asking for their hourly pay to increase from £14 to £19.
They carry the cardiac arrest bleep.
They prescribe your meds.
They diagnose and treat.
They perform surgical operations.
They break bad news.
For £14.09/hour.
Get real.
I don’t care if the hospitals in Gaza do have Hamas tunnels beneath.
You do not bomb hospitals where there are babies in incubators, mothers giving birth and where men are having their injuries treated, just to get to those tunnels.
It is a war crime.
Emergency departments DID NOT WANT to send the elderly with covid or suspected covid back to care homes.
We wanted to test them.
However, PHE and the government only allowed us to test those who were being admitted to hospital.
Matt Hancock is not telling the truth today.
Please don’t blame Greater Manchester hospitals if your operation is cancelled.
Blame the Government for their inaction and the chronic underfunding.
Not a single NHS worker enjoys this and we feel your pain and stand with you.

Is it normal to keep bursting into tears?
Driving home last night, I welled up.
At work, several of us were crying.
I am not as resilient as some of my tweets make me out, or as hard.
#Covid_19
That was a bad shift.
Consultant stayed through the night, she was at 16 hours at 0800.
High acuity patients.
Nurses being screamed at by relatives.
Nurses in tears.
And its November.
We are trying our hardest for you.
Please don't shout at us or abuse us.

Worried enough to build new Nightingale facilities immediately and expand mortuary space, but not worried enough to cancel New Year pub crawls and clubbing.
It’s bizarre.
Matt Hancock is trying to rewrite history.
His diaries are being published in the Mail and state that the elderly who were discharged back to care homes, caught covid from infected staff members.
He is trying to put the blame on the care staff.
Shameful and disgusting.
Multiple unwell people in resus and cardiac arrest.
Someone waiting for a simple arm sling kicking off because they are waiting.
When told that we are dealing with someone actively dying , was told “I don’t care”
“How long will the cardiac arrest take to end?”
What a bastard

We think so too.

Sky News explaining ITU.
"The most important piece of equipment is the ventilator".
Actually it's the nurse.
The nurse is the most vital thing in the ITU. He/she can use a BVM if needed, but nothing works without that nurse.
Nothing.

Damian Green Tory MP saying on

And there it is.
That is what we are going to get.

According to the Tories, graduate level bankers need to start on six figure salaries and get huge bonuses to “attract good talent”.
Meanwhile in the NHS, majority of doctors are getting £14 to £35 an hour and are being told they are greedy to ask for pay restoration.
Hmm
Steve Barclay has claimed over £150,000 in expenses on top of his £151,000 salary.
Yet he thinks doctors on £14 an hour are greedy, when asking for £19.
#JuniorDoctorsStrike
It will cost approx £140 million to put adequate ventilation into every school to protect kids and teaching staff.
Matt Hancock gave £180 million to a Tory ex-minister Brooks Newmark for PPE, who resigned after sending dick pics online.
Kids are worth more than this cronyism.
I was at work when a nurse colleague came in sick.
We had no FFP3 masks.
She was in her 30s, scared, had kids at home and could not breathe.
A day later a doctor came in sick.
The nurse recovered.
The doctor died on ITU.
Don't tell me we didn't risk our lives.
We are not liars.
@Dr_BellaR
🤣🤣🤣🤣”Risked our lives”?? Really?
You’re not the heroes you’ve been led to believe but it’s a label you desperate to cling to.

Victoria Atkins is the Health Secretary and yet fails to realise that there are no dentists in Emergency Depts anywhere.
Fails to realise we have doctors in EDs.
Fails to realise that it is a criminal offence for a doctor to perform dentistry.
ITV News has spoken to a patient who was in so much pain she pulled out 12 of her own teeth with pliers because she couldn't get an NHS dentist.
'Somebody in that amount of pain must always remember that if they need to they can go to their local A&E,' the health secretary says
If you think £29,000 is a good salary for a doctor with 6 years of university training who makes life and death decisions each day, carries the cardiac arrest bleep, looks after 60 patients, pays thousands each year for postgraduate exams.....
Then you are dimmer than Pluto.
@EmergMedDr
I thoughtbt Dr's were paid less than cleaners etc etc.
The starting salary looks quite good.
The only thing striking will do is cause misery for patients, the gov won't care.

When a nurse says they are concerned about a patient, drop what you are doing and check on that patient ASAP.
Nurses have a wealth of experience that you don't have.
Drop the ego.
Use their experience, it will save you many times over your career.

Germany has spent under £1 billion on testing since the start of the pandemic to now.
Our testing appears to cost £2 billion a month.
We are being lied too.
The government:
"There is a shortage of GPs so we will train PAs to fill the gaps."
The reality:
Last year 6000 highly trained doctors were held back from GP posts.
GPs made redundant.
You are being sold a lie.
Unless you stand up and fight, you will get the NHS you deserve.
In my last Trust, there were rules that said certain people should not be admitted to hospital and would NOT be admitted to ITU if unwell with covid.

It’s horrible to break an ankle but taxis and cars are perfect ways to travel to hospital.
Ring an ambulance for life threatening conditions only.
As four hospitals in Lincolnshire declare a major incident due to staffing levels and covid, and classes are being asked to merge due to staff shortages, the government are still saying there is a lack of data for further restrictions.
Open your eyes Boris.
The BBC reporter is wearing better PPE than the NHS nurse.
He has a hazmat suit on, and an apron, ffp3 mask and goggles.
She is wearing a kitchen apron, a useless surgical mask and a visor.

The strikes would have been called off for £1-2 billion and junior doctors would have had a £5 increase to pay/hr.
So far you have spent over £4 billion fighting the strikes.
How does that make financial sense? How can you look the taxpayers in the face and defend that?
I want to find a fair and reasonable settlement for patients, junior doctors, and the taxpayer as well as improving working conditions for all NHS staff.
But strikes put enormous pressure on the NHS and hamper conditions for negotiation in good faith ⬇️
Matt Hancock is upset that his privacy has been breached and that the video was “entrapment”.
