@DrEilidh Don't answer phones etc. Not your job. If a ward clerk finishes early, not your problem. Seriously only do your job, particularly at the beginning. It's tiring enough as it is.

@DrEilidh I'm the same and it's so difficult but you need to look after yourself and just do your jobs and not everyone else's. They will try and dump all they can on you, so my advice would be to set some pretty strict boundaries early on.

@ACEMcCormack @DrEilidh I worked in a role which meant going from ward to ward to see patients, one ward had v passive aggressive signs all round the nurses station " if a phone rings answer it". Was a nightmare, don't know why all internal enquiries (I.e x Ray enquiring about a ward pt) didn't go..
