@WarksCyclist NIP did not happen. Speed offences are not prosecuted from helmet camera footage. Overtaking pedal cycles on double whites which are travelling below 10mph is lawful. The 10mph is determined from a calibrated device, not your camera. Fantasist making stuff up.

@FieldsHighbury Parking regulations do not specify the maximum with of vehicle which may be parked. No PCN is possible for the size of the vehicle here. The PCN is for something else, such as no permit or overstaying. But if you sob harder, you may feel better.

@justchristwo With 15 or so years previous experience in the oil industry, I can advise you that there is significant drilling, mining and energy use to get oil out of the ground to produce gasoline or diesel to power a conventional car, which isn’t required for EVs.

@vivamjm I work for a CPTPP-country based multinational trading company. There isn’t much benefit to CPTPP. We still need visas, customs decs, inspections etc to move anything. For Britain, it’s a long way away. Suggestions it will make up for Brexit are a fantasy of cultists.

@FlightFreeUK I used to commute Heathrow - Edinburgh every week. Flying was faster and more reliable. Also allowed me to leave crack of dawn, go to work and have the previous evening at home with my family.

@willnorman If cyclists want more power for their e-bikes it is easy to do right now: get a motorcycle licence, follow road rules (that’s the hard bit), register and insure it (another hard bit for cyclists). Then you can have an e-bike as powerful as you want.
