The rider of this Sur Ron electric motorcycle thought he could ride dangerously through the city, pulling wheelies and riding on the pavement. He was introduced into the front of one of our new Volvos and arrested. He was already disqualified and wanted by Police in Scotland.

Unless you are overtaking you should be in the furthest left hand lane available to you. If not, the penalty for “lane hogging” (careless driving) can be roadside education, a requirement to attend a driver awareness course (at cost to yourself) or 3 points and a £100 fine.

#Syn1 have issued 87 tickets for cars causing obstructions around Liverpool and Sefton. Pavements are not for parking. It's inconsiderate and causes pedestrians to go into the carriageway, or walk between parked cars. If you can't park on the road, don't use the pavement.

@JuicyMangoes82 There were others around. A queue in the middle lane originally until we intervened. If a car does this at rush hour, effectively making it a 2 lane motorway, this causes a lot of congestion. The message to all is simple - KEEP LEFT UNLESS OVERTAKING.

Following reports of vehicles causing an #obstruction , we attended Rose Lane, Liverpool today. A number of vehicles were issued with TORs. A driver came out of a local cafe on seeing police, tried to drive off but was stopped. They tested positive for drugs and were #arrested .

This vehicle was on the M62, continually driving in lane 2. Officers deployed the matrix board advising the driver not to hog the lane, so they moved to lane 3! Vehicle stopped and the driver was also found to be driving without relevant cover on their insurance. Driver reported.

Driver of this van repeatedly stalled his vehicle on Speke Boulevard. When stopped one tyre was severely under inflated and the other had cord exposed. To make matters worse the driver was arrested for drink drive and blew almost twice the alcohol limit in custody. #OPLIMIT
