Surely now that Parliament has had to break with protocol in carrying out its business, reportedly because of threats to MPs, people must realise that pandering to Islamic sectarianism has been a huge error. It’s time to wake up. This is a national security issue.

I’m incandescent! 😡 Ruling there’s no room in Trafalgar Square for a statue of 🇬🇧’s longest reigning monarch, Elizabeth The Great, because space is needed for symbols of anti-colonialism is shocking. @SadiqKhan has to be overruled by an Act of Parliament.

Re. The tragedy in the Channel: They’re not fleeing France. The issue is the attractiveness of the UK. The Government and migrant charities are messaging they’re welcome, and it’s still financially worth it. The Government and charities are both partly responsible for the deaths.

Behaviour such as this is illegal and the fact the police turn a blind eye to it is one of the reasons things do indeed often escalate into violence. It’s not good enough. If this sort of thing is not met with immediate enforcement action, the situation will deteriorate.

People say 75% of migrants crossing the border are granted asylum as though that’s ok. It is not. We should not be granting asylum to economic migrants. Doing so denigrates true refugees and allows exploitation of vulnerable people and our economy by fraudsters and criminals.
