This feels so real. I enjoyed my mom’s math classes because she made it feel like play. As I ventured into high school math and more, it became more abstract and disconnected. How I wish we could learn differential equations in a fun way?! 🥹

Math at school is taught in such a limited way - no real-world connections, just dead-end problems. I grew up thinking I was terrible at math, until I started teaching myself. I was shocked at how ‘easy’ and enjoyable it was. Here are some things that helped me the most:

CA chose to dumb down its math curriculum today. Education-minded parents will find a way to nurture their children outside the system or leave. This will not end well, especially for the most disadvantaged students.

Ok, Claude 3 is amazing. - follows instructions really well - is creative and writes as well as GPT4 - more concise (this was a major pain point for me with earlier versions) I think GPT5 is going to be insane. 😍😍😍

Enterprises are really slow with technology adoption. I take on interim projects and most of the requests / projects available are for SAP implementation, org transformation (which might be relevant) and DEI assessments. Zero talk about data or AI. Maybe these platforms suck.

The new Claude 2 AI is quite good in early testing: -Definitely much closer to GPT-4 in terms of quality -Continues to be the most "pleasant" AI personality -VERY good at summarizing documents, especially PDFs On the downside, don't use Claude for data. It hallucinates answers.

@AnjaliLal14 Depends on the field of study. The one thing I’ve noticed is that there are more well-recognized schools/universities in the US. Europe has a few, but English-instruction will become a constraint. The UK probably has about 5-7 schools that are globally well recognized.
