44yrs ago I spent my first Christmas working as a student nurse. We went around the Wards singing carols in our red capes carrying lit candles! On #Christmasday consultants carved turkey on the ward & had sherry with the Sister @WeStudentNurse @WeNurses

In case you’re wondering… the hospital corridors & out-patient areas were empty during the pandemic because… there were no visitors allowed, no face to face clinic appointments allowed and many admin staff worked from home if they could. #BREATHTAKING

My retirement is over After 5weeks of lie-ins til 9am & power naps in the day I’m back to work starting with 2 long day shifts. Up at 6am & home by 9.30pm A shock to the system but so glad to be back Why? Because I ❤️my job #earlyrisersclub
