@shinybluedress So true. This is why it takes me an hour to put my 4yo to bed. She’s good luring me in, “can I just tell you one more thing Mum?” And I can’t ever bring myself to say “no” ... even when it’s about her current thoughts on toothpaste. Communication and trust are so important.

@shinybluedress @Raine_draws I do this and have always done this. My son is 26 and still tells me everything!!! I’m not always thrilled but at least he always tells me!!! Thanks Zach Sloman. I love you forever...

@shinybluedress This is so true you need to get to really understand a person be open for them to trust you it must be the same for kids. Kids will shut of easier as they haven't lived long enough to endure being not listened to and believed
