Boris has just told us in the NHS to work harder.
This made me cry.
Nurses already work 12.5 hour shifts & dont always get their unpaid breaks, often working past their shift.
So what will working harder look like to you

So many of us leaving in my community nursing team 3 of us are going. I am a hca on Friday I worked through my break did not get to huddle and finished half an hour late. I get paid hca band 2 min wage. I took blood, changed dressings, visited 13 patients, drove 40 miles.

That was a disgraceful comment and maybe you should all insist on your breaks ,who wants to end up making an error of judgement ,Nurses have to now be able to say No or what is their Yes worth ?? Xx

. I'm doing all I can not to add to your workload. I got my booster last Monday, I'm working from home and wearing a mask in shared indoor spaces (which I avoid where possible).

I don’t know who is going to deliver these vaccines in that time..I can’t even do my vaccinator shifts yet as I’m too busy in the damn ED on code black!!!

What hard work looks like for our PM is the serfs doing as they’re told whilst making it more attractive for private investors to buy public services. Oh and paying more taxes and doffing their caps when he dresses up for them.

My simple thank you for all that you do is never going to be enough for the sacrifices that NHS staff continue to make and so I send my gratitude by acknowledging you for the stars that you are! Those working hard cannot work harder to compensate for the inadequacy of others.
