Fascinating and a bit scary... In breast cancer patients and mouse models, circulating tumor cells generation and intravasation occurs during sleep. Rest-phase circulating tumor cells are highly prone to metastasize

This is cool! Live-seq to prerecord the molecular state of macrophages. Then, exposed the same cells to LPS and establish an unsupervised, genome-wide ranking of genes influencing LPS response heterogeneity!

Wondered if #scRNAseq is feasible without killing cells? V/ pleased to introduce Live-seq, a novel approach that enables transcriptome-wide recording & sequential cell probing (2 dots in a tNSE, same cell!) Great collab w/ Julia Vorholt, tx Wanze & Orane!

If all mammals follow the same developmental plan, why does pregnancy take longer in some species? As always, the answer is simple...

Why does pregnancy last different amounts of time in different species? Work led by @t_rayon has found that it's protein stability that sets the pace. Think of it as the same piece of music, but played at different tempos, as illustrated by @joadelas ! 📰

Ever wondered how immune system finds a few specific clones out of millions of T cells? Our 1st paper from my lab @RutgersBHS shows that CD301b+ cDC2s transiently trap naive CD4T cells in the dLN and scan their specificity for timely priming.

Why does one feel sick when fighting an infection? It's not only because of pathogens, or immunity fighting pathogens, its because of the brain! Here we (i.e @Jess_Osterhout et al.) discovered hypothalamic neurons that orchestrate sickness symptoms
