The first 6 months, the kids slept with the lights on, they were terrified. If you want to help, ask if there is anything you can do to help, ask what they need. Be kind.

@mhdksafa Few years ago, I read an article about customers & cafés/restaurants creating a system in France for "Deferred Meals". Customers pay for extra servings of coffee, sandwiches, salads, etc., which are kept track of. People in need can ask for "deferred meal", sit and eat for free.

@BillyBaldwin Retirement age was 65 for decades, then raised to 72. A person could retire after 20 years with a pension after having paid off their mortgage. Not anymore. Lower the age back to 65. Pay living wages, insurance, benefits, pensions. Stop working out parents and grandparents death.
