@sama Also, the fact that FB became a Social Media for old people is positive IMO. Boomers are less likely to change their network for the "next cool thing." And boomers' clicks are worth more than the clicks of young people as they spend more. Plus, it boosts B2B ads opportunities.

@cdixon People confuse monetary value and utility value. Early adopters are incentivized with tokens because the network's utility is pretty low. Late adopters don't need token incentives as the late-stage network's utility is high. They join because it's cool, not to make money.

@Austen Tbh I learned critical thinking in college. We read many scientific papers, discussed methodology, and during more human-centered classes, we questioned our assumptions a lot. I remember I was pretty shocked to learn that higher education doesn't work like that in most cases.
