Doxxing is overvalued in its harm. If your words could do so much damage to your own reputation, it's you who did that. Speech has consequences and nobody has a right to anonymity. You have to maintain that thru your acts, it's not on the public to help you with your charade.
@punished_tar
As a former farmer and lifetime gardener, it looks to me like they're making an academic case study where they show every bad hand scale farming practice possible in the most compact piece of land they could do it in. It's actually quite clever!
@FlorioGina
I'm Black, when I was in grad school I got to know a postdoc in my group. Once he got comfortable with me he asked me to get him some crack 💀💀💀
@PJ11819211
All the native Americans I've known were boomers, greatly preferred the term Indian, and were largely focused on hedonic concerns over ideological ones. But yeah the fun of small sample sizes.
I've got a criminal record for confessing to doing things I didn't do and it completely fucked up my life. If I couldn't work for my dad's business I'd be getting minimum wage in awful circumstances. Have some compassion for your fellow man for God's sake, it's hard out there!
@valeriehalla
@safenuclearstuf
Nobody truly wants a cell phone or computer that lasts forever. Your car will last longer than the most durable car of 20 years ago with less maintenance. Most garden and farm tools I come across are off much better quality than 40 years ago. Mechanics tools no longer rust away
@perdricof
The new Minnesota flag is terrible, it's like a boating heraldry flag. It gives me no confidence my state would get an upgrade, especially since it's such a good flag
@wanyeburkett
I just don't like iPhones. Nothing they do provides me a benefit over what I could get on an Android. Many things about them piss me the hell of. I feel so frustrated with one. I feel like I'm suffering a little every time I use one, same with Macs. Preference is a valid reason.
@decafdana
I run into shit like this all the time working for the San Francisco Bayview. Prisons have sent back letters for being on legal pad paper, being written in blue ink, any myriad number of arbitrary things
@mnolangray
Honestly it would be better if these were all torn down. They were cheaply built and they're almost all worn out by now. We built so much better buildings today. If we could build reasonably in this state they would have nearly all been replaced by better apartment buildings.
@IDoTheThinking
They're not nice to black people until they find out you're from the US. They are hostile as hell thinking you're a refugee. They tend to be nice but chauvinistic when they find out you're an American
@AlecStapp
@Winterpayload
And they don't hire homegrown talent. All my friends in the industry are consultants or working overseas. I have experience and a top 2 bs and ms in mse and I haven't been able to get a process engineering job for 7 years. They want cheaper, more pliable foreigners.
@SwannMarcus89
My sister and her husband live in Delhi and have a mansion and like 10 servants. They're trying their hardest to come back to America and get a middle income job lol
@opinonhaver
I get it but I'm certain Mr Singal never wrote about Oberlin when that drama was happening. Your joke is dishonest and from how you speak of him it's clear you have a fantastical understanding of his work, probably based mostly on out of context screenshots and hyperbolic tweets.
@Spectatoraccou3
@sock_dem
It's self organizing and directed, the population will somehow know that the banned thing is back, organize to eliminate it with no concern that they get no reward for their labor other than what is freely given in appreciation for their efforts
@Altimor
I applaud your call to have a conversation about tech getting so much criticism. I cut my teeth in a vc funded clean energy startup. They were some of the best years of my life. But let's get real, much of this is earned. There is a lot of shadiness and too much greed in tech
@punishedmother
@lilbabygandhi
@KaoticLeftist
She even qualified it for cases EXACTLY like yours and you still get butthurt about this when it literally doesn't apply to you. Any shame you felt here you put on yourself lol
@byJoshuaDavis
I disagree. Civil servants need to eat a considerable pay cut as a demonstration of their commitment to society. I know Shao and many of our concern council members and none of them would be to get a job at a reputable corporation and hold it. Our leadership is very bad.
@fawfulfan
I can't tell by eyeballing, but it does look like shootings are around 2x what they were pre pandemic. This should have been graphed with separate axes
@SwannMarcus89
They all do. I volunteered with the IWW (a corporation) in their IWOC Oakland division doing prison abolition full time for a few years till I burned out. Corporate anarchists are everywhere.
@AliceFromQueens
She was 2 faced and a little sloppy. I saw her tell the same story three different ways to three different groups of people. I think she was vicious. The way she talked about criminal justice curled the blood of little 16 year old republican me. She was not charismatic.
@asymmetricinfo
Ties are great. A suit and shirt with no tie doesn't look very good, there needs to be something in that negative space. Maybe massy jewelry will do, but nothing beats a tie. They're not even uncomfortable if you have a shirt that fits and once you learn to tie one well.
@KareemRifai
I thought he was quite brave and principled back when he ran to Hong Kong and got trapped in Russia. He always seemed a bit, well, simple though
@BriannaWu
@WSJ
Dude they take in $5,500 million a year in gross income, a debt to income ratio of around 13%. This is VERY healthy and easy to service. Debt to income ratios over 100% are not uncommon in profitable businesses, including pretty much every semiconductor and automobile company
@mnolangray
The Vietnamese food in LA is truly a step above. Persian too. LA is def the best food city in America. You can only really do wrong with American food lol
@rebels2008
@MattZeitlin
Whites are roughly 20% of the age cohort of Californians who would be applying to college right now, it's pretty dang representative
6 years ago today I was homeless, almost completely cut off from friends and family and with less than 20 dollars to my name. Today I have a husband, a good job, a great relationship with my family and wonderful friends. Don't give up on the down and out, they might come back!
@punishedmother
His GF should never do this again if this is how she going to do it and he needs to speak up faster. Anal sex requires good communication, a lot of trust and a lot of warm up work for most.
@Invertible_Man
@transkatgirl
@Aella_Girl
Looks about as appealing as a root canal. If this ends up being the most well written thing she will ever write in her life, it will still be painful to read.
@wanyeburkett
This is across the street from my old coffee shop in Oakland. There's tons of theft and armed robbery around here, it's right off a lightly trafficked arterial road a half mile from the freeway so driving away is very easy. Add in that it's practically legal to shoplift here...
@AliceFromQueens
She's passionate. It was clear she really cared about what she did and cared deeply about helping people. She's a little slimy. I can't give a story but I always felt a little dirty after talking to her. She really doesn't understand black people. Very complicated woman
@pschofie79
I went to a wealthy public school. While our school's funding was much lower than the neighbouring city w/ bad schools, the kids all paid attention, the parents were involved and there were few distractions in class. There are advantages in only educating the upper middle class
@littmath
@ackerley_joe
You have to consider the immense financial pressure WVU is under. He has to be radical and creative to make the math work. He's in a very tough position due to decisions that aren't his and he does make sense
@CougarSpider
@ChristoSilvia
To be fair Mexican food in Europe tends to be an awful caricature. My dad brings salsa and hot sauce to my sister when he visits her in Stockholm because it's basically unavailable there.
@wil_da_beast630
I'm Black. I made an acquaintance with a Chinese national postdoc in grad school. Once he got to know me he asked me to get him some crack. It was so funny that he thought I'd be a good source!
@Noahpinion
Everyone is ignoring the hollowing out of Oakland. The population of my fair city has dropped about 8% in the last 3 years, far more than construction has added rentable units. Supply and demand yes, but more demand than supply.
@CartoonsHateHer
I'm so tired of this photo, it's so aesthetically unappealing. It feels like I've been seeing it dozens of times a day for a week straight. I've given up hope.
@PJ11819211
I personally have much more exposure with Mexican mestisco and indigenous politics, which are at a low simmer in the Bay Area. Who said the politics of the diaspora's home county aren't relevant to where they immigrate too? Many of the issues they care about matter in America.
@JakeAnbinder
This is the dumbest thing to argue about. The advantages of Celsius (and Kelvin) are not in everyday temperature but in the relative ease of unit conversion and constant use when doing math.
@daringlucile
Just episode one billion in men and women talking past each other for the last 50,000 years without meaningfully engaging with the other side here. It's great, I love it.
@bballbreakdown
I wish the league was way more lenient on horizontal motion when a defender jumps. Yeah it's a foul but we end with all these bizarre episodes where the ball handler drives or jumps out of control into a defender and is rewarded with a trip to the line.
@wanyeburkett
I dunno, I'm 6'5 and large and muscular and people are always trying to fight me. I think lots of people try to fight big guys so they have a story. It's plenty easy to pull a gun on a big guy and I can say so from experience.
@Popehat
It's not a literal, material condition kinda thing. More of an allegory or a figure of speech. Thanks for your kindness in not doing a naive read of something not in your cultural context.
