My 87 yo aunt got a Verizon offer addressed to her husband. The offer was for a phone with "limitless range." Her husband passed 3 years ago. She is calling Verizon to test their claim. If they can get her in touch with Bob in the hereafter, she says she'll switch from AT&T. 😂🤣

Dementia is a wicked, wicked disease. It took her mind and tried hard to take her spirit. She lives on in my brother, me, and her 4 grandsons. We were blessed to have her with us for as long as we did. We are devastated but take solace that she's no longer suffering.

My Mom (77yo #dementia ) had a CT scan today. I told her it was a spa, and she'd get a nice nap while the machine worked on her skin. I didn't realize it would only take 10 minutes. Afterward, she said, "Well, I'm not sure I got my money's worth for that!" 😂 @HeelsNeverPanic

@JoeNewberry In my Dad’s last hours my brother and I sat across his bed from each other, laughed, cried and told stories. When the nurse said Dad was near the end, we rose to kiss him. And we did. And said our words. And then we sat down and the nurse said he’s gone. And that was peace.

My son was working there this summer along with his cousin. Jamil made them - and everyone - feel like family. A lot of people are going to feel this deeply.
