Why did you kill the bipartisan border bill that would have allowed the President to shut down the border and invested billions in border security?
Oh right. Because Trump told you to keep the border a mess because it helps you guys politically.
Government has sent billions to Ukraine while completely neglecting the historic nat-sec crisis at OUR border.
Biden caused this, refuses to reverse course, & now we all deal with the consequences.
No one wants to see Putin win.
But this MAJOR problem at home MUST be addressed.

@GovCox
and I will convene our first roundtable on Restoring the Common Good in Salt Lake City.
Listen to Gov. Cox talk about our plan to step back from the rigid partisan fights and ask questions about the roots of and the solutions for American anxiety and unhappiness.
A Senate Democrat and a Republican governor are teaming up to tackle the U.S. happiness deficit, one conversation at a time.
The two will host a series of forums that will focus on how to “restore the value of the common good to American life.”
"We have the right to pursue happiness. We should be thinking about that as we’re creating rules that allow people to connect and build healthy social networks and it should infect the conversations we have about public policy." -

It's official: I'm running for re-election to continue serving Rhode Islanders in the United States Senate. I’ve been fighting to make our government and economy work for all Americans, and there's a lot of work ahead.
Huge change—Airlines operating in the U.S. will soon have to AUTOMATICALLY REFUND you when your flight is cancelled or delayed (3 hours domestic, 6 hours into’l) or bag is lost. Refunds within 7 business days. The new Biden DOT rule starts in 6 months.
“The broad social and political disaffection [across America] begs for a diverse set of leaders to spark a conversation about what makes a truly good life and why this life feels so inaccessible to many Americans.”
The U.S. Chamber’s lawsuit to stop the non-compete ban references my bill to ban non-competes as evidence the FTC doesn’t have the power.
Nonsense.
The FTC totally has the authority to do this. My bill would just make sure the policy is permanent.
“The Federal Trade Commission’s decision to ban employer noncompete agreements across the economy is not only unlawful but also a blatant power grab that will undermine American businesses’ ability to remain competitive."

's statement on why we will sue the FTC…
Years ago, I introduced a bill to ban non-compete clauses, which are used to keep wages down by stopping (mostly low income) workers from switching jobs.
So glad the FTC has moved forward with a ban. The average worker salary increase will be $500. A big deal!
The Federal Trade Commission wants to make it easier for Americans to quit their jobs — by planning to ban non-compete clauses.
The FTC says the move would allow workers to earn more money and help start thousands of businesses. The ban is likely to face legal challenges.
I want to explain to you why I'm travelling out to Utah this week to launch a new initiative with Republican Governor Spencer Cox on Restoring the Common Good.
