I don’t think it is appropriate to refer to #PAs as “Generalist Practitioners” & I believe this is too close to the protected term “General Practitioner” also exceedingly close to: “any name, title, or description implying that they are registered [the GMC]”

I found my IHCD certificates today. Looking back; while the Tech & Para courses had their faults, The curriculum was clear, The assessments were clear, & Once you’d passed, everyone knew exactly what to expect of you, and what you could and couldn’t do. 🚑 #EMT #PARAMEDIC

Unsurprisingly, the further you are from hospital, the longer it takes to get there! But also - doctors didn’t delay on-scene times, Helicopters weren’t always quicker, & as always, more research is needed #PHEM #trauma #helimed #retrieval

@nmcnews The Nursing Home policy stated you must do CPR in cases of “incidents of sudden or unexpected collapse”, I’d argue a frail multimorbid 89year old for whom the GP wanted a DNACPR, being treated for pneumonia who then becomes breathless and dies, Is neither sudden Not unexpected
