I don’t understand how @RishiSunak isn’t embarrassed. Waiting list grew by 4.7m from 2010 to March 2023 (when we began IA). They have grown by a further 0.3m since. It’s like blaming a defeat on a striker missing a last-minute penalty when you’re already 15-0 down ⚽️

During covid doctors were banned from taking any leave. After all staff except doctors were told they could carry it over to next year's. Doctors in training were told they would lose it. Only after being raised to the BMA we were told we could have it paid at basic rate...
