The ward received a play kitchen and toys for the playroom and a TV for the treatment room for children undergoing burns dressings.
Alan spent just short of 6 months in our care at Stoke Mandeville and Amersham hospitals.
He said: “The nurses, doctors and staff in both hospitals were absolutely brilliant. They performed a miracle, and I will never forget their gargantuan efforts."
