A tip for mothers in law & future mothers in law: I make a personalized cookbook for my daughters in law with my sons' favorite recipes that I give to them the night before their wedding. They're always a hit. Whenever I find a new recipe that the crew likes, I print off a copy

@BlondeHistorian And I absolutely believe you. I'm not otherwise mobility impaired but I've had multiple creepy experiences pregnant where ppl have purposely pushed me or tried to invade my space in a malicious and intentional way and I can only imagine how much worse it is for you

@t0nit0ne America has a cultural problem surrounding alcohol. I stopped drinking a couple years ago because it makes my blood pressure wild high and hubs just stopped drinking because it makes his liver enzymes unpleasantly high even after a small amount. People try to force us to drink.

@KaitlynAbdou Also, you may not feel any better about this but I'm hoping that you are aware that you can write off medical expenses including IVF in any year where your expenses exceed a certain percentage of your adjusted income. If you didn't do this, accountant can go back.

Like it or not, there are massive issues with informed consent in the birthing space and also not every provider is good

Also some older ppl in homes are in fact r*pists. I'm all for allowing ppl who rly want to but I also get the argument against bc of this.

@nickmmark I agree with him, and also there is no DUTY to help if a physician doesn't want to/feels uncomfortable/etc. If airlines wanted they could staff physicians. It's out of the goodness of their hearts that physicians help when asked and it's often a lot of trouble to go to.

@DrJessTaylor I support people's rights to do what they want. I think it's an unsafe behavior but I've met ladies who do say they enjoy it. As a lawyer though, seems quite risky if someone's partner sustains serious injury or dies during this...have to be able to prove they wanted it
