People without children won’t understand until it’s their turn - going on a trip with your kids is not a vacation. It’s a trip. There’s no relaxing for the parents. Zero. There’s fun, sure. But relaxing and rejuvenating? Almost never. You come back more exhausted.

In this election cycle I've talked to a dozens of smart, ambitious, caring, and incredible women openly say that they won't run for office because of what they saw in AD21. That's the biggest loss IMO. Ppl work hard to "build the pipeline" & killed it over a few months. Shame.

My 100 yo grandmother, who contracted and recovered from covid in December at her nursing home, got her first vaccine shot today. We’ve been on eggshells terrified that we were going to lose her and are so so thankful that she was able to fight it.

What a joy it’s been to live in a developing neighborhood for the past 6 years and watch it come to life. Walkable San Mateo just got even more walkable with a brand new @Caltrain station and underpass connecting east and west. Love it.

@stephsmithio I went from a 2 hour r/t commute to in 2017 no commute and 100% increase in the amount of time I can spend with my kids every day before they go to sleep. The 2 hours were usually dinner, bath, reading, bed so this net new is super important. Not sure money can make up for that.
