@dazeydaisybaby @ask_aubry Nobody who complains about how women dress truly believes that when women are fully covered like that, they are never assaulted. As someone who dresses modestly in America — men regularly get *angry* at me for not displaying more of my body publicly. There’s no winning.

@ThexImiko @NBedera @oceanbluealex The whole point here is that they did it at home and only invited people they thought were safe. They *were* being super duper careful and it didn’t stop the assault from happening. There’s no amount of “careful” that can save you; it’s the rapist who needs to change behavior.
