CRISPRa&CRISPRi are now a Rosetta Stone teaching the language of DNA in human T cells. Switching on or off every gene in the genome, we quickly learn which genes control which functions. Next we'll write code in the language for new cell therapies. Congrats @CrisprEh & @R_Schmidt_

We find that IL2RA regulators form highly interconnected gene networks enriched for immune genes including enhancers and genes associated with immune-mediated diseases such as MS. Lots to dig into here - let us know what you think!

In our new paper, we knocked-out 426 proteins that physically interact with #HIV using #CRISPR in primary human CD4+ T cells. Our systematic approach reveals host-pathogen protein interactions to be an enriched source of functional host factors.
