You cannot have a functioning NHS without the people to staff it. Doctors are leaving due to not being paid fairly. If they leave, who will bring down the waiting lists? It is a political choice to not pay doctors appropriately. We must retain them by achieving #payrestoration

@FullFact Doctors earned £14.09/hr when the dispute started. They now earn £15.53/hr. Due to this, doctors now earn £155 for a 10 hour shift. A difference of £15 from £140. I would expect some neutrality from a ‘fact checking’ account, but maybe that was too much to expect!

Proud of my colleagues for standing up for general practice. Without GP’s, the NHS would collapse. The contract that was offered was a kick in the teeth to hardworking GP’s. Enough is enough! It’s time the government found out how loud we can be.

@BBCPolitics The BMA’s door has been open for negotiations since the dispute started. @VictoriaAtkins continues to use the strikes as a political convenience for the state of the NHS. Doctors deserve to be paid more than £15/hr. If Atkins wants to do a deal, she needs to act like it.

@hannahmillana When I got my NTN in Wessex I was told I was starting in Southampton. I was still working in Nottingham but we bought a house, and sorted out a school for the children. With 3 weeks to go I was called to be told they’d made a mistake and I was starting in Dorchester. My problem.
