A great example of how realism and fun are often uncorrelated. The doorways in Destiny are massive compared to real world proportions for the same reason. What looks ‘right’ is terrible for fast-paced action-focused gameplay.

All games should have a Main Menu item called "Relearn Controls" and it's just a 2 min tutorial. If you haven't played the game in over 2 months, it also asks you if you want to play the Relearn Controls tutorial before you start. Will try to add this to our next game.

Plot thickens: I didn’t actually have the new “Shutdown (energy saving)” mode turned on. I had the previous “Sleep” mode which never shuts the console down and I guess, doesn’t take OS updates that require a full reboot to apply? Troubleshooting instead of playing… sucks.

I was one of 25 lucky scholarship recipients and so packed by bags and flew to San Jose. We got free access to the conference but I still had to paid for my flight and hotel. It was the first time I’d ever been away from home on my own. Intimidating doesn’t cover it. 4/x

I confess: I enjoyed DC League of Super-Pets more than any DCEU film since The Dark Knight Rises. It has the same great density of comedy of the Lego Movie and touching character moments that propel the movie. Many children’s films are unwatchable; this one I’ll watch again. 1/

Kitase says a Final Fantasy VI Remake like FF7R would take around 20 years to make! #FF6 He says he gets a lot of requests for it from fans, media & from people in the company so he is sad that he can’t confirm it. He said there would be too much content and characters.
