Let’s ride the @RedArrowCoach premium deluxe motor coach and compare it to @VIA_Rail business class. Both compete head-to-head on the Toronto Union Station-Ottawa train station route with VIA offering a slight 20-minute travel time advantage and more departures (up to 8 vs 3).

Good morning! @VIA_Rail @Torontounion business lounge is more institutional than premium. Personally I’d tradeoff the historic details for a warmer inviting feel. Amenities are spartan compared to airline lounges: no hot table, no munchies, no bar service.

Future electric GO trains, LRT and BRT are coming to Port Credit. But Mississauga doesn’t deserve the hundreds of millions of dollars in transit from federal and provincial taxpayers if the Mayor and local councillor are unwelcoming to more density, housing choices and people.

My stainless steel “HEP” coach is a rolling museum piece built by the Budd Co in 1947!! It was beautifully refurbished two years ago but creaks and groans at speed. Love the quad pods, ideal for family travel.
