Update: CN just provided confirmation that their tracks will be reopened by tomorrow. VIA Rail plans to run TO-OTT and TO-MTL trains on Dec. 27 with a modified schedule which will be available on our website and communicated to impacted customers as soon as possible.

Built in in the early 2000s, our P42 locomotives have been serving Canadians for more than two decades and still going strong! Boasting a whopping 4,250 horsepower and a top speed of 160 km/h, these were our most energy-efficient locomotives until the arrival of our new fleet. 🍃
