The idea that AB withdrawing from the CPP is not the concern of other Canadians who would be affected by it, is ludicrous. Did anyone think the federal government should be silent on a QC separatism referendum? 3 clear interests at stake: AB's, all other P/Ts, Federal govt.

The Unknown Soldier should be honoured alone for the singular sacrifice of dying for Canada. It is a symbol of the ultimate sacrifice anyone can give. It is not equal to the everyday, difficult, or necessary sacrifices that occur in life, however hard. It is beyond equal.

Sure, and here is his personal expression: "the lockdown is deadlier than COVID". Following this policy would have meant more COVID mortality and morbidity. Compare: ๐Ÿ‡จ๐Ÿ‡ฆ= 1372 deaths per million population ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ= 3332 deaths per million population.

The NDP has had a lot more influence on Canadian policy over the years than the Tories, without ever holding office. Instead of turning themselves inside out every few years, they took a position, stuck to it, argued with moral force & conviction, and eventually carried the day.

The single biggest cut to health care funding came under Liberal prime minister Jean Chretien's 1995 budget. Transfers to the provinces were reduced by nearly 16% between 1995-96 and 1997-98 with the cash transfer under the CHST reduced even more.

"No consensus" are just weasel words used to hide the fact Canada switching to a proportional system has been the recommendation for years. Politicians reject proportional representation because they see it as a threat to their power, it's that simple.

This is correct. The A-G is a retrospective check on a government's financial accountability. The A-G is not there to make prospective policy, program, or spending decisions. Why? Not elected. No accountability. Leave it to elected officials and their staff. Then audit them.
