The idea that AB withdrawing from the CPP is not the concern of other Canadians who would be affected by it, is ludicrous. Did anyone think the federal government should be silent on a QC separatism referendum?

One of Conservative Leader Pierre Poilievre's most prominent supporters praised Prime Minister Justin Trudeau's political leadership during a conference on Tuesday.
EQ is a federal program financed through federal taxes on all Canadians, regardless of where they live. It is not now, and never has been, a provincially-funded program. That is not a "word game". That is the reality, the truth, the fact.
Money is transferred from people in the west to people elsewhere.
The fact the money transferred via the federal government doesn't change the basic fact of what's happening, and people like Max hide behind word games because they have no other argument.

Odd. If truly a carbon tax relief cheque:
1. It should rise each year with the increasing federal carbon tax. Not just a one-time affair. It doesn't.
2. It should be a rebate of a provincial carbon tax passed back in the form of equivalent tax relief or payments.
