EXCLUSIVE: In a statement to me, Phillip Schofield has admitted to having a relationship with a young runner while he was married. He also admits he has quit ITV and won’t present the soap award. Full extraordinary mea culpa here

So your son needed to go to the loo on a 30 mile drive back from Barnard Castle but was able to go 260 miles from London to Durham without a pee stop?

U.K media gives the DUP’s opposition to a N Ireland only backstop a lot of air time. It’s worth remembering they don’t speak for the majority of people in NI who would prefer to be in the EU than U.K.

@ConHome If you can't have both, what is more important - Northern Ireland staying in the UK or in the EU?

Brandon Lewis’s refusal to acknowledge there is any extra infrastructure at N Ireland ports is beginning to sound like Trump’s assertions that he had the biggest inauguration crowds #FactsMatter #BBCQT

Matt Hancock now saying he chooses ‘peace in N Ireland’ and that’s why he’s prepared to break international law on #R4Today What? Is he really saying the Withdrawal Agreement threatens the GFA but this doesn’t?

DUP now saying the deal is a devolved issue which requires NI consent. Brexit was not a devolved issue, if it was it would not have had NI consent.

(1/2) The GFA requires cross community consent for all controversial issues passing through the Assembly. UK & EU negotiators, who have ad nauseam pontificated about the need to respect the Agreement, have no business interfering in the processes for consent as currently set out.

Quite the Punch circa 1870s vibe here (and of course Biden is teetotal). I wonder if a U.S. President, say, Belgium and looked up some distant relatives would the English care so much?
