Please remind the @duponline every time, again and again, the border in the Irish Sea was caused by Brexit, not the EU, not the Irish government, not the majority in NI that wanted to stay in the EU. You @duponline caused this, you agitated for it, you own it. It's your fault!

Let’s call it a “Lock-in” not a “Lock-down””. Lockdown sounds so brutally American with macho SWAT teams shouting at people, but a Lock-in is much more Irish. It’s gentle, homely, evoking craic, chats, slow pints, & small ones. Crucially, it’s all a bit bold too! #CoronaLockin

In 1953, when Winston Churchill was prime minister for the last time, 91 per cent of Irish exports went to the UK. Today, that figure is 11 per cent and falling. The affair is over. Let's move on and not worry too much about what is happening over there. The world has changed.

The DUP was offered an economic package that most countries in the world would bite your hand off for. An opportunity to make NI an international free trading hub between EU and UK, starting today. Massive investment opportunity for their people. And what did they do? Reject it.

Might it also be an idea to publish everyday daily vaccination numbers as well daily Covid numbers? A comparative vaccination table, measured against other countries, wld give people a sense of light at end of the tunnel, plus inject a needed dose of urgency into the rollout.

Fair play to those who did well in Leaving Cert but remember it rewards a certain type of brain and punishes other types of creativity Intelligence, creativity and thinking come in a myriad of forms. So if u feel you didn’t do so well today, don’t worry, life is a great leveler!

The best piece of advice I think I’ve heard is for all of us to behave as if we already have it. Our own behaviour is the greatest weapon we have to protect those around us. #Covid_19ireland #COVID ー19

This is exactly what I was talking about on today's podcast, if banks are not "passing on" historically low interest rates and are "hoarding" money, the economy can't recover. We own @AIBIreland it has to be part of the fight against #COVID

Big day for the Brits. Either outcome holds lots of economic positives for Ireland. Remember, when your neighbour goes mad, all you have to do is do nothing, in order to look extremely sane! In a globalised world of free moving capital and creativity/talent, sanity counts.

More of this please ...and penalize owners who let such beautiful buildings become derelict. There is such a thing as an "inappropriate" property owner. If you let your property degenerate, you are not the right owner. With ownership comes a duty of care. Owners are custodians!

There is no reason why Dublin should not aspire to streetscape excellence. These 18th and 19th century shop premises are its essential building blocks. They're not rocket science: they just require understanding of original design, materials, and basic good manners. #18Ormond

This makes me so angry and should be absolutely illegal as security for tenure - 7 days a week - is an absolute minimal ingredient for a proper rental market. That woman should hang her head in shame. #greed
