Some replies to what I thought was an unremarkable tweet tell you quite a lot about the level of vitriol the #BBC attracts in some quarters. Though I work for a “rival” broadcaster, it’s sad so many fail to appreciate what a treasure the BBC is/is seen to be across the globe.
