The soup kitchen issue.... 1st thought - why cant the state provide a kitchen for the volunteers to work in. 2nd thought - the Soup kitchens exist because the state wont step up. 3rd thought - some horrendous food has been served in the likes of direct provision.

A key point to be noted.... Teachers who do special school or who specialise in supporting students with disabilities in mainstream (special classes etc). Plus SNAs. They stepped up to do a job for years that others would not do. They STEPPED UP.

@liam7988 @RoryHearne I've a better idea..... What if genuinely affordable housing was built on that site for a variety of needs..... Mr Facebooker will probably do fine in an affordable unit at 1 k a month regardless of whether that's a 1 bed or a 3 bed.

I've never met @IrishWomens in my life.... But she makes consistently brilliant and important points.... Her critics seem to struggle with the idea of well argued counter points. Preferring insults and other less than helpful responses...... (This is purely an opinion)
