Spent 8 hours and got 84 acres planted today in two separate fields ahead of more rain Saturday but got to use our new tow ropes. I got mauled by a cougar. My Crystal Gayle t-shirt is ruined and I didn’t learn dick about farming. Other than that, it was a pretty good birthday.

It's quite clear China can't, at least in the short-term, satisfy its ambitious ethanol agenda. Negotiate preferential treatment of U.S. ethanol into China and kill two birds with one stone. Exporting 500 million gallons of ethanol to China will have more impact than E15.

Last thing on most people's minds but Urea swaps made new lows for the move yesterday. Trading at the lowest levels since September 2017. DAP swaps at lifetime lows (2011) and UAN swaps cheapest since Sept 2017 as well. Should be some excellent buying opportunities this winter.
