Much info coming out of MT today. Worst weather in 25 years. Double replanting. Less cotton, less corn. Soybeans flowering too soon/short- will not yield, nights are too hot. Rivers are dry- comment: if no rain next weekend, you won't believe the losses. Intense week ahead.

It looks like the CME will allow negative price option strike prices in the energy markets. i.e. negative value options in crude oil etc. I have been told $1,$3, and $6 dollar per barrel options have traded today. I would call this a hold my beer moment.

Nov was record dry. We have never seen dry Nov in MT. Oct and Dec Yes. MT can grow a bumper soybean crop on 50% of normal rain. The question for this year is can she do it on 25% of normal? We simply don't know. Add in heat X factor and we have a soybean novella.
