@drokane I think it needs to start by supporting senior medical students to start ‘doing the job’ under close supervision. Medical students are majorly infantilised in the UK imo.

We are cracking on with delivering the doubling of medical school places. 205 additional places already confirmed for this September. And today we allocate 350 places for 2025, awarded to medical schools up and down the country, helping to level up access to medical degrees.

@RobynDean_ Just nope. I also asked whether when you get into a deanery whether your random number is re-generated. Answer was no. Even they seemed a bit shocked when I questioned getting my last deanery if I get ranked 9000th, and then I’ll also get the shittest job in my bottom deanery 😭

I spent 8 weeks at Withnell working with Dr Robinson & Dr Ressel. It was a fantastic experience which showcased how amazing primary care can be, with a very happy and looked after patient cohort. It would be a terrible shame for this to be lost. #DontBidForWithnellHealthCentre
