@brettberson Yeah like many are saying. Per Cal Newport’s Deepwork it can be a negative indicator. Being hard to reach is integral to getting into a flow state for folks in creative and deep thinking industries. Some roles are all about email comms and shallow work and that’s ok.

In a few months I'm losing my home office to baby #2 's nursery, so I've taken to @splinetool to design my new backyard studio for me to relocate into. Fun to decorate and plan in 3D. Everything (including tree placement) is 1:1 to scale so it really helps.

I track my data in @googlesheets in a spreadsheet I've worked off of for years, then monthly I transfer the data to this custom @figma template I made which lays it out in a pretty way. This takes about 1min, or sometimes I spend 10min at the end of the week catching up. (5/n)

A friend and I once hiked up Masada at 2am by ourselves under the twinkling stars one night after sneaking past the guard shack and eventually watched the sun rise over the Dead Sea. Magical memories.

@mualphaxi I just got back from Chicago and this is correct. It's one of America's great, old cities. Beaches, Rivers, Parks, Museums etc it has it all. Worst things are winters and potholes from what I can tell. May spend a few weeks up there next summer to get away from ATX.

@benblumenrose I design probably ~20+ decks a year, and maintain an archive of all decks that come through our firm to reference who is doing what well. Deck design is incredibly important, I wish more founders would invest in it, and that more designers would pursue it as their craft.

This photo of the Sombrero galaxy was taken by someone in a private astronomy group I’m in (credit to Cody Arnett). The galaxy is 50,000 light-years wide… so it would take 50,000 traveling at the speed of light to get from one end to the other. My brain hurts.
