Last week I carried myself to NHS to donate blood. They sent me back with a pamphlet on how to eat right. Turns out, I have only enough blood for myself and myself only.
We power our houses and workplaces. We fix our own roads. We crowdfund for health emergencies. We crowdfund business capital. We should also appoint family head thatโll go and bring dollars for CBN?
@Terz_Daddy
I don't want kids of my own. I don't think I'm emotionally fit to raise kids by myself. If I do get mentally fit enough to or feel confident enough to raise one, I'm adopting because I don't think there's any need for more children in the world.
I donโt know how the origin of Gele is more important than the price of spaghetti in Nigeria right now. Iโm so stressed by you peopleโs obsession with irrelevant facts
Anyway thanks to the TL uncle that raised dust over passport renewal the other day. They didnโt ask me for any foolish proof of state of origin or whatever and birth certificate is now the only required document ๐

Girl, chill! Please pinch yourself and breathe. You don't even know what material it is made from? And notice how it's in a private space? NOT a public space? So you can look up your own skirt if you want?
The bank you use says a lot about your kind of person. I lose interest almost immediately if I ask for a girlโs account number and she sends OPay or Palmpay.

He didn't claim he doesn't ask for help. Just not financial help. This is a policy I have maintained all my adult life. I NEVER ask a friend for financial help. Never.
Naval really said "I don't know why you're hear listening to me. I don't go on clubhouse to listen to someone else talk about how they get inspiration for their lives. Do it yourself" ๐ญ

And you are right. Some women genuinely canโt stay idle while pregnant. This tweet though is about the women who are forced to earn an income in that critical trimester and there are MANY examples of that.

Came here to say this. Itโs hard to relate to that reality because a lot of us will pick lonely abroad to stuck in Nigeria. Also, weโre a people who believe in thugging it out till it gets better or we get used into it.
Black Americans so fixated on owning things they dont even know when to stop. Fight over dance, hairstyles, fashion trends and even trauma. Unhealthy fixation
Had an interesting conversation with a founder in the food space today. It turns out Chicken Republic is closing locations temporarily because there is high demand but not enough chicken supply. You canโt have Chicken Republic without chicken.
Nigeria is an interesting place.
Took me years to discover the female orgasm. I was stunned when it happened. I realized all I had been doing for almost a decade was rubbish. It only happened because we were at home all weekend and broke. Nowhere to go and no stress.

My first thought. Every true crime story Iโve heard, they always leave a trail of smaller crimes thatโs cell showing they are dangerous people who shouldnโt be around others

No it doesn't. None of it makes sense. Compensating people for kidnapping and displacing people from their homes is beyond wild
I compared that with Radisson Blu in Lagos where I almost died because of their bathroom. Zero stretchers, no ambulance. I shook my head. We don't know what luxury means yet in Africa. Someone here said it recently and they were after her head. We are poor people. Even our rich.
We need not know about that Nedu son situation. If not for an exwife desperate for internet pity.
You commit such heinous evil against a man yet you come slander him over a case heโs already cleared of. But heโs the one covering your shame.
This generation is incredibly stupid.

They had no business "owning" people to start with. I'm sorry you can't wrap your head around that. The only party entitled to compensation were the slaves, not the "owners".
Except that the % of women who use toys is nothing compared to the % of women who have never orgasmed through sex with a male partner?
But also that a lot men have really poor understanding of women sexual pleasure + develop erectile dysfunction or premature ejac from all the
I see people blaming hormonal birth control for modern women being unable to orgasm, but has anyone stopped to consider itโs the normalization of using 100 volt plastic sex toys just to feel something. Nobody needs this.
2014 I travelled with strangers from Abuja to Sokoto and spent 24hrs exactly on the road; I thought it was amusing at the time. I didn't feel fear. Now, God forbid I go past Zuba. ๐
Igbo men in UK or everywhere, listen to me very carefully. Very very carefully. Don't settle for any less. You are the prize. You heard me right. Every ethnicity all over the world, even in Nigeria, want you. I know this because I have friends from many backgrounds.
Said this many times. Too much calculations between Nigerian couples here. Most people are still stuck in survival mode and poverty alleviation strategies here and there. Stressful af.
I swear thereโs only a few other categories on Nigerian Twitter thatโs more annoying than Jesus babies. 24/7 virtue signalling, no personality outside their religion, self righteous af. Every day yen yen yen. Rest for Godโs sake?
Iโm first Temi, a lover of Jesus before Global Temi.
So if you think I will sacrifice my believe to prove something to you, then you donโt know me.
My belief is my belief.
Global or not.
The word of God is same everywhere.
Watching Nigerians embrace craft has been amazing. Graduates become creators of furniture, fashion fits, etc โฅ
There is dignity in honest work and it does not have to be suit and tie.
