One of my biggest disappointments with campus hiring has been how many allow adding up of perks, internet reimbursements, even laptop costs to inflate CTC. This eventually forces even startups to do the same 💩 (in campus), as for most colleges, it changes the slot you get.

Growing up, I'd often hear statements like "बहुत नेता मत बनो", that's toxic in a way relatable only to folks who've heard the same. It kills the ability of most people to take a stand ever, and encourages "भेड़ चाल" (herd mentality). Hopefully we do better for our next gen 🇮🇳

Colleges can be absolutely great, if you're not limiting yourself to the teacher's notes. What you learn in school vs undergrad have very different levels of rigour & coverage, at least in STEM. Please don't fall prey to bad (even if fashionable) advice and skip college entirely
