Ok, so honest question. What techniques are Namma Bengaluru people using to dry their clothes?

Thank you everyone who replied with a suggestion. Based on everything, gonna go with a dehumidifier due to more potential use than just the dryer. But for now, glory to the sun gods who decided to bestow us with the beautiful beautiful sunlight

@MohapatraHemant I don't know about those. Are those efficient at all humidity levels, and not a fire risk?

@chandrarsrikant We use that for in our balcony, but wasn't effective, so relying on fan + clothes stand + furniture inside the house now. But seems to be too slow.

@amodm Hahaha. Parents are here from Mumbai and they are like - Is this why you do laundry once a week?

@amodm Spin dry on high then leave overnight with fans on, draped across sofa /dining table etc. Considering getting a proper clothes dryer machine (Bosch) soon

@rutvik Was hoping for a non-appliance method, but looks like dryers are becoming common here too.

@amodm Funny how I was having this conversation with mum today morning! Same problem. No furniture has been left untouched. However, 3 days and they dried under the fan, In the sitting room. Sofas and chairs were used in the process. :D

@amodm In mumbai it's like this every year during the monsoons. We have a clothes dryer stands that we keep indoors under the fan that is anyway on for us. And you need to turn the clothes after the top is a bit dry to expose the under part. Works well.

@arathimy That's what we're doing, but in BLR the clouds literally (and this is not an exaggeration) enter your home (higher floors) sometimes. This is one of those times.
