@dpkBopanna On my trips to India, it was routine to wake up to the Azaan from a nearby mosque. Sadly, it's eerily silent now, no doubt due to pressure from local bigots. Also was in a temple in Kerala, where the Azaan was heard amidst a very important prayer ritual. No one batted an eyelid.
