@MobileHarv when I worked @cleveland_PL - my neighborhood used to get influx immigrants. I remember Liberian father shaking in anger b/c his two sons let their sister walk home alone - the boys wanted to play war games on the computer at the library. Walking alone is a privilege for males.

African-American Barrett family were the hold out that kept UH from bulldozing whole street.

If you visited the Miles Drive In between 1979 and 1980, I was the manager. My cousin, James Horn managed it after me. My Dad, Harold, was the last before it closed after George Forbes and Richard Caserle purchased it from Jay and Sam Schultz. I worked for the Schultz brothers.
