Not sure what stopping “diplomatic coordination” means, but it’s extremely unlikely that the UAE would ever cut ties with Israel. Senior Emirati officials have criticized the war throughout, but they consistently emphasize the importance of the bilateral relationship with Israel

My view is that publicizing a strike that would take hours to unfold effectively guaranteed that it would be intercepted, hence my belief (which could of course be wrong) that the Iranian leadership felt they had to be seen to be doing something but in a carefully messaged way.
