There are 17 small countries which are still colonies and if majorities in any of them want independence they should get it. But too many academics based their work on post-colonialism so now folks claim Israel is a colonial project & we have to decolonize potatoes or whatever

@FuckCarsReddit GOOD POINT. There are so many street fairs in cities that always take place on the same streets and they should all have these. Also all culs-de-sac and alleys where kids learn to ride bikes/play.

This is all 100% true. But there are many on the left who claim all Israelis are “settlers” either out of ignorance or hate and journalists have a responsibility to clearly define this group.

To everyone on the American Right: the settlements are terrible, they are theft, they are quasi-colonization, they are illegal, and while there many things wrong with what Palestinians say about Israel, the settlements materially contribute to the conflict.
