The moment in my book where my dad living with dementia started singing along with Mimi to Silent Night . He hadn’t uttered a sound in weeks but he sang word perfect with her. The emotions l felt then and feel now to that moment are profound. Thankyou

RIP Bill Tidy a brilliantly different cartoonist and one of my great influences he kindly wrote me a six page letter (in green ink) on how to be a cartoonist in response to me writing to him for advice when l began. A lovely man too RIP Bill and thankyou 😞😞😞

Was sat with my dad at his cottage. He was lost in his dementia and hadn’t said a word. Eventually l said United are on telly tonight dad. He beamed and said .. oh that’s great can we watch it together.. l said course Dad and l wrote this full of emotion ❤️🥲🔥🥲
I said to the barman .. l believe this pub is haunted... he said... that’s bollocks I’ve never seen a ghost as long as I’ve worked here ... l said.. so how long have you worked here? .. he said 286 years

Awe memory come up on FB me with Terry in his green room after the very last Python show at the O2 .. Terry had stashed away some very fine red wine .. it was behind a curtain he told me to have that not the one on show.. Stayed at his that night.. l miss my friend very much
Whenever I see photos of Oliver Dowden MP Im reminded of my character in Oink comic Horace (ugly face) Watkins . The difference though Horace was a nice guy
