A cop who has a habit of eating crayons. 20 years and counting in firearms, love the job and the teamwork, but getting tired of the bullshit. Views are my own.
A friend just sent me this, it made me giggle.

sucks. If you know someone with it, don't be surprised if they look or sound fine, yet the next day, be unable to face the world. It really is a lottery.
But if you can't laugh at yourself, we may as well give up ๐

To all the critics and haters of the police out there, how about just for the next 24hrs, you shut the fuck up.
I won't expect you give appreciation or support, besides its worthless if not sincere. Instead quietly show some respect to those who yet again ran towards danger.
These old boots are fast approaching their 20th birthday, issued once I became an SFO.
They are about to start a new adventure, as they've been stolen by my son who starts as a police officer on Monday.
And yes lots of bulling required ๐

This is the moment two "animal loving" police officers came to the rescue of a deer that had become trapped in a rope swing.
The officers calmed the animal down by scratching it on its head, before cutting away the rope with scissors.

What utter garbage, not surprised to see such a tweet but I am surprised to see a Member of Parliament make such a tweet.
Just to remind you the IPCC, a public inquest and the justice system including a High Court appeal all found the police actions to be lawful.
Well, 31 years ago, this foolish girl decided it was a good idea to marry me ๐๐
We met on a blind date (I know it explains a great deal) 38 years ago. Somehow, we're still here.
From this small clip, the officer was polite, professional and tried her best to calm the woman down whilst explaining the reason for the search.
It will be interesting to see the other footage, especially the manner of driving.
If you haven't watched this yet may I suggest you do, very sad result for the victims of the attempted burglary.
To those criticising the police, perhaps direct your criticism towards the CPS & the judicial system.

Regardless it's important to remember history and what happens if evil is left unchecked.
Worth a follow.

In June 1944 he was deported to

And this is a good example why stop & search can appear so ineffective. Police responding to this incident won't search just the youth in the grey hoody, even if a good description of the offender with the machete is recieved they will search all 5.
A blast from the past, old friend shared a couple of pics. Made me smile great times, great characters. I'm glad the tactics and kit have advanced so much since then, but we still managed to get the job done ๐

If needs be go off sick, your mental health is just as important as you physical health mate. I know cops tend not to want to do this, as they feel guilt as the team will need to work that bit harder in your absence but it's no good pushing yourself to breaking point.

I've not confirmed the source but perhaps we should stop speculation about the driver for now and respect his privacy.
He is a very lucky man and I hope the justgiving gives him some financial security whilst he recovers.
I'm sure he will speak to the media when ready.
To be quite honest, I normally have a lot of sympathy for emergency drivers who end up facing charges for doing their job. But watching this video made my toes curl, red traffic lights should be treated as a give way. But that was nothing compared to the last incident ๐ฌ

I think it would have been best if you had remained quite to be quite honest.
No one firearms officer I know has any issue with being held to account.
But we do expect to be treated fairly, and for any investigation to be impartial & and objective.

I would suggest this has been building for some time. I would also suggest it isn't the murder charge they take exception too, but the growing mistrust with the IOPC. They may feel their position is untenable now, the risk too great.

Indeed, there are many politicians who remain in public service after the facts have been established, which show they are unfit to hold such an office ๐
