Tucker Carlson: "Moscow has not been degraded by postmodern architecture that destroys your spirit"
Chris Cuomo: "You believe postmodern architecture is designed to kill your spirit?!"
Tucker: "Of course." Cuomo: "Why?"
Tucker's answer will blow your mind. A rant for the ages:
I'll ask again: What is the point of annually spending a trillion dollars on a global war machine if you're going to allow a group of rebel pirates in a failed state to wreck global commerce?
MAP OF THE DAY: Sometimes, a picture is worth a thousand words.
Container ships heading toward Europe and/or North America, with almost all avoiding the Red Sea (red).
More than two weeks after the launch of US-led 'Prosperity Guardian', the Houthis still rule in the Red Sea.
We don't need another private equity deal that could lead to higher food prices for consumers. The

is right to investigate whether the purchase of

creates a sandwich shop monopoly.
Vivek Ramaswamy: If you want to cut Social Security, cut Medicare, cut veterans' benefits so we can send more money to Ukraine -- vote for Nikki Haley.
If you want an agenda that puts Americans first -- vote for Donald Trump.
Tucker Carlson is in Moscow to interview Vladimir Putin.
Uncensored on X. The US deep state and the Biden administration must be in panic mode because Putin (the most censored man in the West) will expose their propaganda and lies.
THIS sets off my First Amendment alarm.
Facebook is free to host or not host any speech it wants. The government should NOT be doing this while simultaneously threatening the company in any number of ways, including active antitrust litigation.
Spirit and JetBlue combined would have still only been the 5th largest airline.
The Department of Justice filed an antitrust suit and blocked the merger.
Now, Spirit will die and JetBlue will be a weaker competitor.
Who did this help?
Environmental review that’s 3 years behind schedule for a place that’s already in a completely developed urban core and is currently covered by train tracks and concrete. Incredible stuff.
“Economic libertarianism has destroyed America”… cool it’s been illegal to transport goods in the most cost and energy efficient way possible from one US port to another if your boat was mostly built in another country since 1920.
I'm going full no-mask unless directly asked by a private property owner. I'm done.
The world shut down within days of me getting my vision back to normal after 2+ years of progressively worse problems. I'm not wasting any more of my life.
People in the comments criticizing this cartoon for putting two people in a one-seater plane.
I'm more annoyed that it ignores the fact America has a very large and expensive social safety net that is rapidly consuming the entire federal budget.
"Former President Donald Trump's social media company announced it will team up with free-speech-focused YouTube rival Rumble to handle its video streaming as a way to avoid any future censorship."
The Facebook oversight board has more power than the United Nations.
Conservatives were right to worry about giving our sovereignty away to a multinational institution. We just picked the wrong one.
The American economy is incompatible with China's state-controlled model. Democracy is incompatible with communism. The longer our economies are connected, the more we allow the CCP to subvert our market.
It is time for a hard break.
I simply do not understand the policy justification of granting relief to the narrow portion of the population eligible at this time without addressing the underlying tuition inflation.
I said I wouldn't back down from using every tool at our disposal to get student loan borrowers the relief they need.
That's why today we're announcing new plans that, if implemented, would cancel student debt for millions more.
Millions and millions of Americans would have already had their student debt canceled if Republican officials hadn’t sued to block relief. The GOP is determined to hold up help for working people while they cater to corporate loan servicers. But we won’t let them win.
Studies show that Millennials, despite a rough start, are now thriving financially,

Tariffs are taxes on FOREIGN producers, not American. Tariffs are what built America. Ripping down tariffs are how globalist elites gutted manufacturing towns in South Carolina. And restoring tariffs are how we bring those jobs back.
Nationalists: “We can’t have all these people coming in from a war-torn country filled with religious radicals and terrorist groups!”

Let me emphasize *unlimited.*
There will forever and always be work for someone to do to create value for someone else.

(R-AR) introducing a bill that would only ever ban Amazon from making new acquisitions, but not Minnesota-based Target or Arkansas-based Walmart. Both have faster e-commerce growth than Amazon. Cronyism, much?
Hi George Mason University, I’m a twice graduate. Doxing is not unconstitutional if the info is public. You’re named after the author of the Virginia Declaration of Rights, the precursor to the federal Bill of Rights, containing the First Amendment.
Embarrassing. Do better.
The FTC's proposed overhaul of the merger review process "would increase the average time to prepare a merger filing from 37 hours to 144" & add "roughly $350 million in added costs"
I’ve made it a point to ask most of my Uber drivers what they value more, employee benefits or flexibility. It’s uniformly the latter. Don’t preach about democracy and then just ignore the people you’re pretending to help.
Giant corporations like
@Uber
,
@lyft
&
@amazon
shouldn't be allowed to misclassify employees as contractors to avoid labor protections like a minimum wage and overtime pay. I applaud
@USDOL

I had some thoughts on recent comments from JD Vance. They reflect a troubling, authoritarian trend on the populist right. My debut over at

I’ve been. It’s got some beautiful buildings and history. I’m so glad I got to see it. But to pretend like the city isn’t filled with a ton of post-modern architecture and brutalism is ridiculous.
This is the person crafting what would be the most consequential changes to American competition law in decades.
Just casually tweeting absolutely bananas, made-up economic stats.
Honestly if we’re worried about the Chinese buying up real estate in America, just restrict their purchases to California that way we know they won’t be able to do anything with the land.
FIRE repeatedly sides with the hard-left against our laws & core interests. For example:
FIRE opposes enhanced vetting of Chinese nationals :
opposes Florida’s Stop WOKE Act:
opposes Texas bill targeting DEI:
Here is prominent “conservative” big tech critic and Internet Accountability Project head, Mike Davis, criticizing American tech companies for… wait for it… standing up to the Chinese Communist Party puppet government in Hong Kong.
"Amazon has rolled out this pay-to-play advertising scheme that is actually showing consumers less relevant results and steering them to more expensive products."
@linakhanFTC
walks through how Amazon uses its monopoly power to hike prices while its quality degrades.
Reading through this Disney complaint. It is plain English and BRUTAL because the case is such a slam-dunk. And given Florida's Sunshine Laws, they will have receipts that would make Dominion's legal teams blush.
🤡 Russian security services detained a man for allegedly passing information about the routes of arms transportation to the front line
During the detention, law enforcers allegedly found a US flag and the American anthem handwritten on a piece of paper.

Great to see Vance, Rubio, and Hawley partnering here, and emphasizing imbalanced trade's double-whammy: first the subsidized foreign products weaken domestic industry (not "comparative advantage"), then we send back corporate control in the "trade" (not "investing in America').
The year is 2045. $250 billion additional dollars have been spent. California does an online survey asking what color the trains should be. Service is promised to begin within the next 10 years.
Check out this quick tour of our preliminary mock-ups of our trainset interiors!
As we move the design process forward, we’ll host mock-up tours for stakeholders & focus groups to provide feedback on what Californians want to see on the nation’s first HSR system.

And there it is.
Japan is home to more US military assets than most states. Framing the acquisition of US Steel by a Japanese company as a national security threat is laughable.
Like shipbuilding, protectionism and regulation has failed domestic steel, not a lack of it.
This is mind numbingly idiotic, especially considering that J&J distribution was focused on at-risk communities since it is only one shot and easier to store.
Gary Johnson got booed for not adamantly opposing drivers licenses but "jail people for speech" RFK Jr is getting libertarians to ratio Reason. Cool cool cool.
The libertarian support for RFK is fascinating because they won't support another libertarian if they disagree on one issue but they'll support an authoritarian Democrat like Robert F Kennedy even though they disagree with him on 90%. That's part of the reason that the movement…
Since FTC is suing Amazon over 6 clicks to cancel, I decided to see how many clicks it would take me to file a public comment on something on the FTC's website. On the second click I got this.
New Twitter policy is freedom of speech, but not freedom of reach.
Negative/hate tweets will be max deboosted & demonetized, so no ads or other revenue to Twitter.
You won’t find the tweet unless you specifically seek it out, which is no different from rest of Internet.
Sen. Lucas & I probably don’t agree on everything, but she is an absolute LEGEND for fighting the most egregious stadium deal in history! Politicians around the country need to take notes from her on how to 1. Not to get bullied by a billionaire & 2. Bully them right back. 👏👏👏

at the National Conservatism Conference:
We are told that America is the land of individual liberty. But economic libertarianism has brought us dependency on foreigners. Social libertarianism has brought us the destruction of the family.
There is precisely *one* domestic manufacturer of commercial airliners in the United States. They have effectively one, maybe two, global competitors… but American antitrust officials are busy suing Amazon who competes with everyone.
Ok I just read the complaint. The canceling process I did before I read the complaint is still six clicks and not substantially different than the complaint... and again it took me less than a minute and required zero phone calls.
Six. Clicks. The horror.
I just canceled my Prime membership (and re-enrolled) in under a minute...?
It's a good thing the FTC hasn't done everything possible to destroy its credibility lately or otherwise my experience would lead me to believe this is just ideological.
