Earl Meyer from St. Peter is an American hero that served in both WWII and Korea. In 1951, he was wounded by shrapnel in an attack but never received the Purple Heart. My office worked with him for years and we finally got him the recognition he deserves.
The case heard this week in the Supreme Court to decide whether women have access to emergency abortion care is why we need federal protections. Women’s basic rights and health are at risk. We must codify Roe into law.

: My grandfather voted for you in the last election he ever voted in. The reason he voted for you is because you’re a decent man. I thank you for your decency on behalf of my grandfather
Buying tickets shouldn’t be hard. Over 250 artists including everyone from Billie Elish to Green Day have signed a letter supporting my bill to make sure there’s cost transparency in ticket sales.
It’s time to put a stop to deceptive ticketing practices.
I got to have a great beer at Chaotic Good Brewery in Kasson. Minnesota is home to many incredible breweries that create good jobs and add character to communities and neighborhoods across the state.
Thanks for having me Scott, cheers!
I spoke at the Bloomington MN Travel and Tourism Diamond Service Awards to honor employees that work in hospitality. Tourism is a huge economic driver in Minnesota and none of it would be possible without the dedicated workers that make it happen everyday.
I joined members of law enforcement to highlight the importance of combating the fentanyl crisis. I worked to pass a bill this week to declare fentanyl a national emergency and impose sanctions on traffickers. People are dying and we must take action.
I joined Sen. Smith, Lieutenant Gov. Flanagan, and other community members at the Minneapolis American Indian Center reopening. This new cultural center is amazingly beautiful and will be the heart of the community for generations to come.
Big day in Austin! I joined Gov. Walz, Sen. Smith and local leaders to break ground on the I-90 bridge project made possible with federal funds. Upgrading I-90's aging bridges ensures this vital roadway continues to connect MN to the rest of the country.
I stopped by Harmony Enterprises in the town of Harmony to highlight the community child care center they created to help attract and retain workers. I am pushing legislation that would make it easier for other businesses to follow this innovative approach.
From fans to artists like Billie Eilish, Cyndi Lauper, and Graham Nash - there is growing support for my bipartisan legislation to reform the live-events ticketing industry.
Over 250 popular musicians — including Billie Eilish, Green Day and Dave Matthews — have signed a letter urging the Senate Commerce Committee to support a bill that aims to reform the live-event ticketing system.
I went to Doosan Bobcat in Litchfield to see their newly expanded facility and hear about their work creating attachments for mowers and grappling equipment. Manufacturing helps drive our state’s economy, and I’m working to keep it that way.
I joined Rep. Fischbach and other members of the community in Winsted to remember Guardsman James Rogers and rename the post office in honor of his service and sacrifice to our country.
Bridgette Norring is turning her pain into action and working to build support for legislation I am advocating for to keep kids safe online. I've worked with Bridgette and seen her determination up close - I know we can get this done.
Life Link III is a non-profit that provides life-saving air ambulance care across rural Minnesota. I stopped by their airbase in Willmar to see how they will utilize federal funds to expand their reach. Thanks to our first responders for their good work.
MN National Guardsman James Rogers served our country overseas and right here at home. His life was cut short in a Blackhawk helicopter crash. I joined his family and friends at a ceremony to rename the Winsted Post Office to honor that service and sacrifice to our country.
