Fun way we've been using @felt here at @Artifact_News — we draw custom (often overlapping) polygons for regions, and then use them to geo-gate publishers that are local-only news. Exports to GeoJSON and then geopandas on the Python side matches user location with regions.

we spin up a headless Chrome browser, render the graph (plus the extra elements you see in the Card above), and use puppeteer to grab that as an image, which we then put in S3/CloudFront and redirect to. that way we're able to make these show the right data when you share it

Looks like nothing off the shelf exists. Ended up rolling my own using Airtable (hat tip @aron ). "Full Name" and "Household Name" are both derived columns based on the names.
