I don’t know who/where I’d be without my early career research experiences. Let’s bring these opportunities to more undergrads, regardless of their circumstances.
A year+ in the making — it’s finally happening!!! 💜
Undergrads pursuing research are undersupported, underpaid, and overlooked. Let's change that.
That's where we come in. DojoGrants is designed to financially enable undergrads, from anywhere in the world, to pursue life sciences research in the U.S.
Apps launch JUNE 2023. 👇
I've been working on this exciting initiative this past year to disrupt how undergrads are supported in research. Send me a msg if you/anyone you know would be interested in supporting our pilot launch!
Undergrad researchers are full of potential, but are often unpaid or underpaid.
We're launching an institution-agnostic grants program to enable ANY undergrad to pursue life science research. If you're interested in sponsoring grants for future biotech innovators, shoot us a DM!

Reactivating my 'writing in public' muscle with a piece that explores the songs we hum to ourselves in our head, especially in times of solitude and slowness.
a sweet humming (ft. my Switzerland summer)🪻:
Since I joined Nucleate Dojo in April 2022, we've fully conceptualized and launched three unique, highly impactful programs: DojoGrants (research grants), DojoExplore (intro to biotech course), and DojoHouse (biotech hacker house). All to lower the barrier to entry into biotech.
Also wanted to highlight my fav figure panels! We found a really neat molecular gradient across the AV sub-nuclei of the ATN, and later discovered this exists for the AM and AD, too!
@areena_akhter
read in "digital minimalism" by cal newport that mobile ad revenue on FB accounted for 88% of their earnings—so it's definitely proven that smartphone apps are much more adept at hijacking your attention. highly rec the book if you're looking to rethink your tech use even more 😊
In 2024, we're looking to scale. We're looking for curious, driven, and creative people to join us and help make more waves in biotech. ANY undergrad can apply (esp if you come from an underrepresented minority group). Find our application form here: 💡
this is the very side project that got me started with tech and coding. we want to pass it on to help any keen gr11/12 learn and break into this often daunting world! see below 😊
exciting news! we're looking for a paid part-time grade 11-12 apprentice to join our team! you’ll both learn and do full-stack development and design with a stipend of $1700 CAD/$1350 USD.

@kouuthar
still RLY want to do all these things but: a neuroscientist, spoken word artist/creative writer, or working at a charity supporting a cause relating to mental health, global health, children, or disability justice!!!
curious to see the implications this will have on global health & socioeconomics even after covid-19 is eradicated (like how post-polio led to pernament disabilities/paralysis of millions). and how will this be treated? a new area of neuro research to keep an eye out for 👀
People recovering from COVID-19 may suffer from significant brain function impacts, with the worst cases of the infection linked to mental decline equivalent to the brain ageing by 10 years, researchers warn 1/5
With the rise of FemTech, I've been wondering what the next generation of therapeutic companies in the space will look like.
Over the last year, I spent some time learning from key leaders and researchers in the space. I've gathered my thoughts here.
