@StevenOR_
How terrible! Will definitely be more on the alert for my two. Well done Molly for being so clever to run away from them, I’m not sure Lottie and Luna would be that smart!
Well.. some naughty people have sent her gifts which we’ll let her open and review what she can keep with her (mental health ward rules) but this is after 2 days. Oh Twitter ❤️
I absolutely love
@JasonManford
not only because he’s a cracking performer, but he’s a massive champion of the UK theatre industry, we need more Jasons!

Hi Antonia I’m so sorry for bothering you. I’m an ‘Aunty’ to Lacey who is 14 on 29th April. She’s currently on a section 2, no friends left and little family. Need to show her the world is kind and get some birthday cards to her. Would you be able to retweet please?
@artsngrafts
I saw a young mum trying to shoplift some nappies. My heart just broke. I asked her if she’d let me pay for them and she did thank goodness. Often think about her and hope she’s doing ok
@ashleyljames
Not particularly Royalist. But the line “protect his family” keeps appearing. What about his father, brother, late grandmother? None of whom chose to be born into this family either.
If you want to see what the kindness of strangers looks like. Thank-you, thank-you, thank-you! Going on Thursday to be with my Lacey Loo and show her just how much love there is in the world ❤️ 14! Not sure how that happened but I’d give her the world if I could.
Hoping to get some advice from Twitter! Lacey is currently in hospital and under section. She turns 14 on 29th April and has very little family and friends have disappeared. How would I get people to notice to send her cards?

Highly recommend Octopus. As a vulnerable person they’ve been outstanding. Also had an email this morning to say rates are going down which is only a good thing 🥳
I meant to say yesterday and was just a bit overwhelmed. We opened everything that was sent and honestly, it was such a lovely time. Thank-you all ❤️ and thank-you to those people who put a little card in for me. We had to stop everything so Lacey could watch me open things!
Shout out to

I’m on their Priority Services register, trying to run life-saving pieces of equipment - let alone trying to keep warm. Life is very stressful and scary right now, life or death, so their offer of £100 credit against debt is hugely appreciated.
Packed the car up, ready to go and see Lacey in the morning. She’s apparently very happy that her Aunty Haylz is coming tomorrow 🥰 just you wait to see what I’m bringing with me kiddo!

Here’s an idea, any employer that doesn’t pay a fair living wage, should contribute towards the UC top-up. You do an important job. Without mine, social care would say I couldn’t cope in my own home and I bet I’m not the only person in that situation
My heart is full of the kindness of people ❤️ hoping our Lacey Loo can fill her room with cards on her birthday. Just reminded me to order her balloons, otherwise I’m going to be a very unpopular Aunty Haylz. She maybe poorly, but she remembers traditions!
Lots of lovely people asking me about our Lacey Loo. She is 14 on 29th April, and loves dogs, (in fact all animals) and Dumbo. Please nothing food related on cards and DM for my address. Thank-you thank-you thank-you xxx
I know lots of people have asked for a Lacey update and I’d delayed for not wanting to jinx it. But we’ve had some major positive progress with her the last few weeks, allowing things in her mouth, some words and getting some enjoyment out of making wax melts. Incredibly proud x
@gersoise32
Can I suggest not making wildly negative comments on the page of a lady who is caring for a son with challenging needs? That might help your mental health.
@DeanEggitt
Same thing happened to me today. Tried to get GP appt, couldn’t, went to pharmacist who said needs a GP, rang GP back who said ring 111. Rang 111 who got me an urgent appt with same GP surgery I was trying from 8am. The system is broken!
@JasonReidUK
I still don’t understand (amongst other things!) why he was allowed to wear all the garb… when Prince Harry was in a morning suit with 0 crimes against him!
@Ka81
I’ve been a moderate-severe depressive episode for 2,5 years. Last June I was diagnosed with ASD. Whilst my depressive episode continues, as we all learn to understand my ASD works, I have no doubts the diagnosis saved my life.
@Depheruk
This really bothers me. So many people with celiac disease or gluten intolerances, there is no cheaper way to buy those foods! No budget lines and very rarely reduced stickers. It’s not like they have the choice either 😞
@GyllKing
@Chris_Pierce
Surely Charity Commission has got to get involved?? How can this be allowed? And I’d got no idea!! I’d been donating thinking it was helping! I’ll stick to supporting my local independent foodbank. Genuinely shocked
@laurenancona
I’m a hair twirler. I’m also a “tickler” can look very strange a 34 year old having a comfort blankie or tickling a scarf but you do what you have to do to get by don’t you.
@AntoniaRolls
Thank-you. I saw that you had be kind in your bio and have followed your son’s story Lacey’s issues whilst not the same, are mental health. Bullied to the point she can no longer walk and talk and refuses to eat and drink x
Just got home, having spent Easter seeing people and popped to our C/O address to see 3 cards for Lacey Loo! That’s with no post! I’m so excited to see what we’ve achieved Twitter for our girl ❤️ thank-you doesn’t seem enough but it’s all I’ve got right now!
Just to add the address being given is a c/o and Lacey is not in the same area. All cards will be taken to her ready to open on her birthday morning. Thank-you all ❤️
@noodles_nood
I’m not convinced our glorious Health Secretary has ever worked a proper day in his life. Let alone the exceptionally difficult things you’ve listed. Thank-you for your service x
I’ve been absolutely blown away by the amount of love shown for Lacey (and I!) so many people have asked for wishlists/somewhere to donate. I’d deliberately not shared but she does have one all info but nothing expected! Cards are enough!
@JoannaNoBanana
I wish I could for my physical health but my hair is a sensory device and I’ve had the same style for the last 12 years. Not sure I’d recover from that meltdown
@AimieNiamh
I’m with you. I suspect where I went wrong was crippling social anxiety and autism. But here I am with my dogs. Happy new year to you lovely x
@Mayz131
@finding_hope_2
Received ASD diagnosis, now told that because ASD is classed as my primary diagnosis, I’m not eligible for CMHT. Despite having long standing PTSD and Mixed Anxiety and Depression. So falling between the cracks of different services, with no real option for support.
Lacey update as I know lots of you still follow.. we’re doing okay, we’re still awaiting the specialist Manchester bed but the agitation is much much reduced and there’s signs of old Lacey in there ❤️🥰
I am very slowly going through the messages I’ve so kindly received. Going as fast as I can but bear with me I sometimes get very tired when there’s been a lot of activity (and there’s been loads!) So grateful especially to
@HelenAshby72

As someone with a disability, and someone who stands by any actors with disabilities, I can assure you the chance of it coming around again is minimal- zero.

@ashleyljames
What proof of there is this? One word against another? A case of who shouts louder? A family who due to their position can’t stand up for themselves? And I’m not even a Royal supporter! It may be as you state but without both sides of a story how does anyone know what’s true?
@TheAdamDyer
@AntoniaRolls
Hi there thank-you so much for asking for the address for Lacey! it’s Lacey Briggs C/O 15 Mancetter Close, Kirby Muxloe, Leicester. LE9 2DX and I’ll make sure they’re with her for the big day. Thank-you so so much X
Just to add the address being given is a c/o and Lacey is not in the same area. All cards will be taken to her ready to open on her birthday morning. Thank-you all ❤️

At least Alison Hammond has had the courage to own her mistake and apologise for it. Be the bigger man Dermot and admit your mistake. We all make them! Just don’t push it further under the carpet, people will have more respect for honesty than anything else!
Absolutely fantastic night at the Opera House in Manchester.
@JasonManford
and
@realbennickless
absolutely on top form in Panto! Laughed every minute, much needed. Have a good run chaps!
@EmAtack
A friend of mine for 12 years. She helped a disabled girl settle in at drama school, she made it accessible. A light in the dark. Loved going to see her warm-up gigs. Absolutely heartbroken. Xx
@HelenAshby72
I’m in a tiny bungalow but I’ve got sats machine, nebulisers, medicine fridges, medical equipment etc etc quarterly bill of £1467. I can’t pay it. I already sit in the dark and cold. Just not sustainable for anybody.
To those enquiring about Lacey. The little girl who was so poorly. She now wants to give back to other people despite her having a very long way to go but if you could share/donate it would help to lift her and provide a Christmas to someone else in need.
Thanks everyone for your help
@OfficeShoes
have confirmed the
@Crocs
are actually out of stock everywhere across the business. Absolutely gutted that I can’t get Lacey the one thing she’s shown any interest in 😞
The 1 thing Lacey wants from her Aunty Haylz is a pair of size 6 Lavender lined crocs
@OfficeShoes
have these in stock in their Stockport and Wandsworth stores but are refusing to ship said I’d pay anything! They’re out of stock everywhere. Come on Office, help a sick kid out!
Hey
@CurveLeicester
just been to see the School of Rock. Absolutely mind-blowingly good, those kids are just astonishing and
@RebeccaLock22
is just the absolute cherry on top, as always. Post-pandemic I’m even more grateful of the calibre of shows we get in Leicester!
@adamfare1996
100% agree. I’m autistic but I have capacity to understand when I’m in the wrong or to be hold responsible. I may not understand in the heat of a moment, in the grips of a meltdown but I’ve never wanted to be treated any differently. I’m not a child. I have autism.
@HelenAshby72
You won’t struggle to sell these Helen. I’m so sorry. It’s at the Leicester Curve in June, which I knows a bit of a trek for you and Elizabeth but it’s a lovely theatre. And I’d love to treat you both to a pre-theatre cafe trip to say thank-you for your kindness xx
@HelenRSalisbury
My confusion here is Nurse Practitioners have always been very publicly billed as non-doctors. BUT they’ve had 3 years of training plus additional training to become NPs. For the most part, every one I’ve seen has been fantastic. Would the PA sit above them?! Madness

The problem is the specialist services are so limited. The only option we have for people who need the specialised care is to send them further away. Otherwise yes they stay closer to home but they’re not receiving the care they need to get better
@sianrodgers
I think it’s fairly obvious this is a very different scenario to a traditional theatre setup. Whilst there are definitely declines in theatre etiquette, you hold something in an arena, you’re going to get the huge amounts of noise and cheers.
@SchoolOfRockUK
just had the best night at the Leicester Curve. Amazing kids, brilliant adult cast and just one of the best nights out for a long time. Stick it to the Man!
@DudsofOxon
I love farm shops and supporting local farms. But because they’re now hit so badly with rising costs, they have to pass those costs on and I just can’t justify it 😔
@Nataliealana87
I’m so frustrated. It’s blocking an opportunity for the next Six, the next Ride etc. it has a clear audience and demand, move it to a larger venue! Preparing to get slaughtered but we need new theatre in this country!!
@BGatesIsaPyscho
She’s going through cancer treatment. Of course there’s no sign of her. I wish people would stop making comments like this. I’m not even a royalist, but she’s got 3 young kids and she’s got cancer. Leave them be.
Very proud to have a best friend who is a truly gifted Biomedical Scientist. They never get enough credit for what they do! Thank-you Biomedical Scientists around the UK!

I was in Sainsburys on Saturday, bought myself a couple of t-shirts £14. Elderly woman behind me whispered (badly) thought these youngsters were in a cost of living crisis. I’m sorry that I’ve put holes in all of my other ones and I’ve gone for the very designer brand of Tu!
